Your day begins with a morning pick-up by the Kymawari Alam Journey team, driving you to the spectacular Jomblang Cave. This vertical cave requires no prior climbing experience—professional guides will safely lower you 60 meters down into a massive sinkhole using a manual pulley system. At the bottom, you will trek through a muddy, ancient subterranean forest to reach Grubug Cave. Here, you will witness the famous "Light of Heaven," a breathtaking, thick pillar of sunlight that shines directly through a hole in the cave's roof, illuminating the darkness in a truly magical display.
After being hoisted back to the surface, you will be treated to a well-deserved, authentic Indonesian cuisine lunch, giving you the perfect opportunity to refuel and savor local flavors before the second half of your journey.
Next, you will head to the nearby Pindul Cave for a much more relaxing underground experience. Equipped with a life jacket and a large inner tube, you will float gently down a subterranean river that flows right through the cavern. Your guide will share the history of the cave as you drift past shimmering crystal stalactites and thousands of sleeping bats.
The water adventure continues as you exit Pindul Cave and transition straight into the beautiful Oyo River. Here, you will enjoy a leisurely journey—strolling along the shallows, floating on your tube, and swimming in the refreshing open-air river gorge, complete with a small waterfall you can jump from if you are feeling adventurous.
After drying off and changing your clothes, our driver will be waiting to take you on a comfortable, air-conditioned ride back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
